Inducted as Secretary of PhilExport Cebu

I have the pleasure of announcing that I was recently inducted as Secretary for PhilExport Cebu. Over the past year, I have contributed as actively as I could in my role as a Director-Trustee and welcomed the opportunity to take on more responsibilities in furtherance of the aims of PhilExport.

It shall be my special aim to try and increase PhilExport’s membership. In this way we shall further the reach of an organization that plays a key role in advocating on behalf of exporters. PhilExport it

Oath being administered by
Rose Quinanola of DTI

The board meeting that followed was an exhaustive discussion of all the current problems that beset exporters. We covered topics such as the outbreak of nCoV, the rising costs of inter-island shipping rates, the rising cost of electricity, the effect of the Province of Cebu’s issuance of E.O. 5-A and the entry of often unregulated foreign players in the export space. This was in preparation for a caravan of PhilExport which shall cross all the different regions of the Philippines and to try and outline their specific concerns.

It is my firm belief that in a time of great uncertainty for the community of exporters we must come together and ventilate our concerns. If you are an exporter reading this, consider joining PhilExport!
